Warehouse K is a converted Grade II listed dock warehouse on the western side of Royal Victoria Dock, next to ExCeL London. The Royal Docks are outside the central London Congestion Charge zone, though the whole of Greater London is in the ULEZ. If you drive, the ExCeL and Royal Victoria Dock car parks are the nearest paid options; most visitors arrive via Custom House on the Elizabeth line or DLR.

How Booking Works
HM Passport Office does not publish waiting times by office. The booking step shows live appointment slots at all 7 offices, and you can choose any of them. The rules below are the same at Warehouse K as at every office:
Fast track: the next day after you apply. Premium: 2 days after you apply. Slots can be booked up to 3 weeks ahead.
Changing is free more than 48 hours ahead. Cancelling for a refund goes through the Passport Adviceline, with a £34.50 admin fee inside 48 hours. A missed appointment is not refunded.

What to Bring to the Appointment
- PEX reference number from your confirmation email (also in your appointment texts)
- Your old passport, if you have one (for premium you hand it in at the appointment)
- Any documents the online service told you to bring, such as a marriage certificate or deed poll for a name change
- No printed photos: the urgent service takes a digital photo when you apply online
- Nothing to pay on the day: the fee is paid online when you apply

Alternatives If London Is Booked Out
If Warehouse K has no fast-track or premium slots for your travel date, the booking system lets you switch to any of the other six UK passport offices. Each accepts the same PEX reference and charges the same fee. Approximate journey times from central London:

The fee is the same at every office, so the only extra cost of a different office is your fare. Premium costs £47.50 more than adult fast track (£239.50 against £192), so if your travel date allows fast track, that is the cheaper service wherever you book it.
Important Warehouse K Rules
- Apply online, not on the day. You book the appointment, apply and pay in one online journey. There is no walk-in or paper application at the office.
- Premium is only for renewing an adult passport. It cannot be used for a child passport or a first passport. For an urgent child passport, use fast track (£156.50, ~1 week).
- Neither urgent service covers a first adult passport. That goes through the standard service.
- A missed appointment is not refunded. You would have to book and pay again.
